Titans of Steel is a mech strategy game played on a variable-sized hexagonal map where the object is to defeat your similarly mechanized opponents. The game is described by the authors as being "an offspring of Mechforce, the brilliant Amiga classic by Ralph H. Reed". You build and configure your various mechs (one program), assemble your teams (a second program), and then battle them (a third program). Up to four players can take turns, or you can add multiple AI opponents at varying difficulty levels. I can't really comment much on the gameplay because this game seems very deep, and I am not personally into strategy-type games like this at all. But it looks great with hi-res 800x600 mode graphics and seems to play smoothly. Later versions were released for Windows and the forums dedicated to the game are still going here although they're not too active anymore.
