The Settlers is a long-running series of RTS (real-time strategy) games, of which this is the first. Well the Amiga was first, then the DOS version. (In some areas it was called "Serf City: Life is Feudal".) This game was included in the book 1001 Video Games You Must Play Before You Die, and the series continues to this day. Anywho, I honestly don't know much about RTS games so I will assume that if you enjoy other games in this genre (such as Warcraft and similar games) then you'll probably like this one, especially given its glowing reviews. Note that since this is only a demo you won't get the full experience of the "real" game.
