DOSGames.com Review: Rating: 3.5
Tronic is a decent Arkanoid clone that is only marred by slightly stiff controls. The game plays like many other Arkanoid / Breakout knock-offs, with decent graphics, music, and sound effects. There are a variety of levels (not sure how many in the shareware version, there's 50 in the registered) and many powerups you can collect, notably one that allows your paddle to move vertically as well as horizontally. The controls are a bit "stiff" as mentioned above, since for every tap of the arrow keys or move of the mouse your paddle glides a fair distance left or right, making precise moves difficult. It does otherwise play quite well though, and even includes a built-in level editor.
