Paranoid is another ball & paddle game. It features EGA graphics, PC speaker sound effects, and powerups to collect. The game is not particularly exciting to play, and part of that is due to the keyboard-only controls. Your paddle moves at a set speed, and you need to use the left and right shift keys to move. So you need to constantly be tracking the ball, otherwise you may not have time to get to it. The ball DOES bounce off the paddle differently depending where it hits, so that's a big plus. The designs of the levels don't seem particularly inspired, but at least it has a variety of powerups, although they should probably drop more often.
