Sword Quest 2: Tale of the Talisman is a traditional CRPG that, unlike a lot of other indie attempts at the RPG genre, seems to get a lot of things right. The controls are intuitive (and most are listed on the screen as needed) and the purpose of most things within the world is apparent. (Tip: Buy items to light up the caves in the magic shop ...) It also allows you to save and reload whenever you're not in battle, so that's good. The story involves being a knight who has been teleported into another world and tasked to defeat a dragon king. You'll be fighting dragons from the start so get ready! Graphics are decent, and it includes several MIDI songs for background music. Overall it seems like a pretty well made RPG.
