Original archive (billy40.exe, 964k) - The main download file above (DOSBOX_BILLY.ZIP) is pre-configured to work DOSBox. This file, billy40.exe, is the original and may require installation / setup.
Billy the Kid, based on the wild west outlaw of the same name, mixes different genres together into different episodes. Of the three included episodes (of 10 total in the registered version) two are platformers, and one is an overhead action game. Neither are particularly successful, with awkward controls, one-hit deaths, and not a lot of fun to be had. It's a shame because the graphics are decent and it's a different theme for a game than we usually see. A lot of people probably played this game given its ubiquitousness on BBS's and the early Internet.
