Baron Baldric: A Grave Overture

Baron Baldric is most well known as the protagonist of the Mystic Towers games published by Apogee. But before he rose to fame in that game, he starred in his first game, the eponymously named Baron Baldric: A Grave Adventure. This game was probably often overlooked because the full version was only released in Australia. The shareware version (ending with "Overture" rather than "Adventure") provides three screens to try out the full game. Unlike Mystic Towers which has an isometric viewpoint, this game is a platformer where the Baron must navigate the tricky environments (and somewhat twitchy controls) to collect treasures on each level. The graphics and animations are great and the game certainly exudes a lot lot of style!
