At first Rings of the Magi seems like just another puzzle game. But after playing it for awhile I think you'll agree that it is quite fun to play, and its presented in better than average fashion. Puzzle games usually are rather skimpy on graphics/sounds/effects, but that's not the case here as ROTM looks quite good. The main attraction though are the puzzles which involve matching up colored rings by moving them around the level.
