Phylox is a simple side-scrolling shoot-em-up game from Beavis-Soft, who famously went on to develop the kart racing engine used in both Wacky Wheels and Skunny Kart. This game however is a shmup, and you control your spacesuit wearing character using keyboard or joystick as he/she blasts their way from left to right, destroying the various mutated insect things, and once in awhile using a grenade to clear the pathway. There are two levels included in the shareware version of the game.
