Ion is a variation of the classic Collapse / Crash Down type game, where the object is to click on groups of same-colored blocks to remove them from the playing field. While typically new blocks emerge from the bottom, here blocks fall from the top. Other than that, it plays similarly to other games of this type, except that there is a lot of visual/audio flair, and also quite a few different special blocks to click on that do a variety of non-obvious things (like clearing a full vertical row of blocks). Overall it's a decent implementation of this sort of game.
