Original archive (crinstal.zip, 458k) - The main download file above (DOSBOX_CHAINR.ZIP) is pre-configured to work DOSBox. This file, crinstal.zip, is the original and may require installation / setup.
Chain Reaction is a Columns clone. It plays the same as the classic game from Sega: Shapes comprised of stacks of three different blocks fall down the well, and you must change the order of the blocks and place them effectively in order to match three or more of the same shape. The game presents some decent graphics and SoundBlaster (or whatever sound card) enhanced music. There are a few difficulty and preference options that can be set as well. (Change your keys by running SETUP.BAT.) Overall it's a fun and competent Columns clone.
