Captain Comic Revision 4 (comic4.zip, 102k) - An older version of the game.
One of my first experiences with 'shareware' way back a couple of months before we'd even purchased our old 2400baud modem ... Anyways, this game was quite innovative back when it was released, with it's smooth scrolling EGA graphics and sound effects. (This was 1989, of course.) It's still a pretty cool game; the enemies and locations are memorable, as is the music. (At the time I didn't know that the Captain Comic theme song is actually a rendition of the United States Marine Corps Hymn.) The main thing it lacks is a save feature ... which means you'll just have to spend hours at a time trying to finish it. :)
