how to play a dosgame after installing it. [ZED]

Post by Thomasjuuhhh »

hello everyone, I have a question about my game, called "Z"(by the bitmap brothers)

After having it installed in DOSBox, the game ask me If i would like to run the game. When I choose"yes", the game starts normally.

but how do I play it after ending the game?
you see, I'm not very common with DOSBox, so can anyone help me running the game a second time? It's been installed in C:\Z

Thanks in advance

Your answer is somewhere in that topic.

If you can't sort it out, gonna need some details from you, as are:
OS?
Dosbox version?
Mount lines?
Inputs and choices when installing game?
Original game? (CD?)
And probably some more .......

my OS is XP, DOSBox version 0.74. when installing it, I do everything standard, even the sound and it works. the mountingline with installing is:
mount d d:\ -t cdrom
d:
install

and it installs the game. But I don't have the original CD, it's a copy on CD-rom.

..... and your virtual C: mount line when you installed is...?
Did you alter anything in dosbox conf file under [autoexec] header?

Did you downloaded a CD image? If yes, what exactly?

....???? You can't install a game without mounting a virtual C: in dosbox, your mount line please, otherwise, if you have no idea what I'm talking about, and as you're on XP read and apply:
http://www.dosgames.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=5443
Come back with your mount lines.

I usually don't ask questions if they aren't somehow important.
Please, at least try to answer them.
