Textris by Thomas G. Hanlin III is the original version of Textris by Loren Blaney. So if this isn't the Textris that you remember, try that one. Or Texttris which also does something similar. Anyways, this game works sort of like Tetris with falling blocks, except the goal here is to spell words. So letter blocks fall and you have to try to align them to make complete words. It's not too difficult to make short words, but longer words are much tougher. Overall it works well but the concept itself isn't as universally engaging as Tetris.
