Kosmonaut is in some ways the prototype of a more advanced game, Skyroads. The title screen even seems to say "Skyroads" in an elaborate font. The concept is a 3D "racing" game where the only goal is to reach the end of the course. You do so by controlling your speed and jumping at the right moments. The game is tough, mainly because when you crash or fall off the track, it mocks you and then you have to start over! But it's an interesting first concept that was developed more fully in later games. (We can also see how this game influenced modern games, such as Snail Mail for iPhone/iPad.)
