Flashback is a rotoscope-animated sci-fi action/adventure game no doubt influenced by Jordan Mechner's Prince of Persia games. Here you play a man who has lost his memory, and after escaping from some rather hostile aliens, your escape vessel crashes into a jungle-like area of the planet. Your goal is to explore and stay alive. You move in a way very similar to the POP games, with all of the smooth animation and sometimes frustrating deaths. This demo version of the game allows you to experience what the full game is like.
Instructions:
Most movements simply use the arrow keys to move. Hold the Shift key while moving to run. To jump across a gap, again hold Shift but press Up. The Shift key can also be used to hang down from a ledge, after turning around at the edge. Other keys:
Tab or Backspace Inventory
Enter Use item selected from inventory
Spacebar Draw / holster your gun
Shift Shoot your gun when selected and drawn

Game will not be saved after closing your browser. Download and install the game if you want to save.
