Armchair Quarterback is a text-mode American football simulation. You choose your team, flip a coin, and start choosing your plays from a list. Then you'll see how successful you were. There is no two-player mode or any fancy features. Then again, the game is from 1985 and so it's not like there was a lot else available back then. Pretty basic but an interesting historical artifact from the mid 80's, especially the author(s) asking for a "donation" of $10 if players like the game. (Note that you'll need to use the numeric keypad, even with Num Lock off, to navigate the menus; the usual arrow keys don't work.)
