Towers is described as a Tetris-like game but it doesn't have much in common with it. You are given pieces of various shapes and must try to position them "in the tightest pattern" on a grid. Then once you run out of space, you'll need to use those blocks as a base for the next level of the tower and place your next set of pieces on top of them. It's a neat idea but it's unfortunately not much fun to play. There isn't a lot of strategy involved, you just try to place the pieces so that they fit closely together; since you never know what's coming next you can't plan ahead. It does show you a nice 3D-ish view of your tower once the game is over, but overall, it's not particularly enjoyable. (You do get some decent, if generic, classical music to listen to while you play.)
