Time Traveler is a trivia quiz / adventure game which bears some resemblance to the classic "Hunt the Wumpus" type of game, except you'll be tested on your knowledge of American history in order to progress. After choosing a time travel destination (which determines the era of historical trivia questions) you move around a grid having random encounters. The game is in text-mode with simple PC speaker sound effects. I guess if you're interested in US history this is a decent enough way to test what you know. Note that a numeric keypad is required to play this game, make sure NUM LOCK is on. (There is no documentation included in this copy of the game so I'm not sure exactly whether this was freeware or shareware.)
