Splat is a simple mouse-clicking game where your goal is to shoot all the things. That's mostly all you need to know. It has decent graphics, similarly decent but repetitive music, and many wacky sound effects and voice clips from movies and TV. At least starting with the second level you'll also have to dodge the projectiles released by enemies in addition to shooting things. Undeniable time and effort went into making this game and it has decent production values, but the gameplay is shallow so you won't likely want to play it for long. It's also inappropriate for kids since it includes blood when things get shot, and sometimes audible cries of "Please don't kill me!" which are a bit creepy at best. An editor was released which allows you to replace the graphics used in the game.
