Side Line (or Side-Line or Sideline ...) is a Taiwanese-developed game which unfortunately only saw a very limited Western release. It's a traditional horizontally-scrolling shmup in space, where you blast other ships, collect powerups, and progress to the right. One hit deaths, insane amount of projectiles, all of the usual stuff. It's presented with fantastic graphics and sound, with lots of debris flying around as you blast stuff. There is even simultaneous two-player mode sharing the keyboard! Definitely worth checking out if you are a fan of shooting games. Note that the complete full version of Side Line is available here, it is a 519MB file so be aware before downloading. This game runs a little slowly in-browser so it's better to download and play anyways.
