Poker Ace allows you to play a variety of poker games against up to 5 CPU opponents. You can set several options, such as the betting strategy of the other players, their names, the backs of the cards, and more. There are no pictures of the other players; that would've added a lot of personality to the game. Also most of the communication comes in a small box on the left side of the screen, and it takes some time to get used to tracking who is actually playing. But the game does work well and provides many different poker options. The main drawback is that after you win or lose $200 the game ends, a limitation of the shareware version.
