Maxmix is a freeware Pac-Man like game which features a zoomed-in perspective. The game plays basically the same as Pac-Man: Collect dots, avoid ghosts, and turn the tables when you collect a power pellet. The game is presented in CGA mode and the zoomed-in view allows you to see more detail on Pac-Man and other characters but it does make it tougher to avoid the ghosts. The second level adds one-way arrows that move you in the direction the arrow points. Later levels may have other innovations, but you'll need to play farther to discover them yourself! Quickbasic source code is included, and it also includes an editor, which the author notes has a bug (mouse cursor may not be visible) but it's still usable anyways.
