Taking place in the year 2704 where apparently ladders are still used as a primary means of conveyance (?!) Goldunner is a Loderunner clone where the object is to collect all of the gold on the level, then climb that ladder to escape the murderous robots that are after you. You can burn holes in the ground to trap the robots, which is necessary to reclaim the gold when they pick it up. The graphics are pretty basic, and the sound is through the PC speaker. The docs say that there are between 14 and 18 levels. Overall the controls work well, and there is a two-player simultaneous mode that you can also try with a friend on the same keyboard.
