Enigma is a Breakout / Arkanoid type game where you must use your paddle at the bottom of the screen to bounce a ball around and destroy all of the bricks to progress to the next level. There are powerups to collect (multiball, lazer gun, paddle repair ...) and "baddies" that sometimes rush out of the blocks that must be avoided or shot with the gun. (Unlike most games of this type the gun can only be used to kill baddies and not to destroy blocks.) Your ship can take damage from the baddies and still continue to function. There are also "subgames" to play between the levels. (This game was originally shareware but was released as freeware by its developers in 2005.)
