Simply put, it's a DOS version of the Windows Minesweeper game. Try to deduce where the mines are and flag all of them without blowing them up. Here the game is played in text mode, unlike the popular Windows version, and there aren't many options to set. (Hint, press F1 while running the game to see the "Help" menu.)
