Dead of Night (not to be confused with "In the Dead of Night which is a 1st person graphical adventure game) is an adventure platforming game. The game revolves around Greek mythology and you are given an epic quest to complete at the start of the game as revealed by the Greek gods. The game looks good (even including parallax scrolling) and plays smoothly, giving you a variety of items and weapons to collect as you progress. The issues with the game are mainly two: One is that the game was never finished, so you won't be able to complete it. The other is that the enemies are crazy difficult; getting past the first skeleton alone takes practice, and later it gets even tougher. Make sure you consult the MANUAL.DOC file for all of the different keys, but note that PgUp restores your life to full, which you will likely need. (This was for testing purposes, it would've been removed for the full game.)
