CAR is a generically-named and obscure sidescrolling / driving / shooting / autoscrolling game which is the author's first released software. (He was 14 when this was released.) So it's a little rough around the edges. There is story about your dog being kidnapped by a monster or something, but gameplay involves auto-scrolling from left to right in your super-powered car, blasting things and trying not to die. Action is a LITTLE frantic (that's an understatement) as things fly at you from everywhere. I didn't make it very far due to the difficulty but it does work and you can tell considerable effort went into it. I imagine someone remembers this from their childhood so ... here it is!
