Bones is a hybrid text-mode adventure game that plays a little like a cross between a roguelike, a text adventure, and a board game. There is not much story; the objective is as follows: "Accumulate points to get highest score possible, find magic items and to TRY TO EXIT the mansion ALIVE." To do so, you navigate using a keyboard-based menu system of commands like "Investigate" and "Attack". You will fight many skeletons and collect treasures, and try not to die! There is a unique auto-mapping system which requires you to collect RAM in order to use it. A quirky and difficult game that was originally written in 1981 for a DECSYSTEM 10 mainframe system! (Read the included BONES.DOC file for game instructions.)
