Bert and the Snake is a passable variant of the popular 80's arcade game Q*Bert. The object and gameplay is the same: Jump on all of the tiles to change their color before being killed by the snake, and/or the fruit which falls from the top. Later levels require two steps per tile, etc. The game plays well enough and allows for keyboard configuration. The CGA graphics are simple, but again allow the user to customize the colors and the keyboard layout.
