Banyon Wars seems to be an earlier version of the more well-known Soleau Software game Isle Wars. The object of both games is, like the board game Risk, take over the map by warring with competing armies. You must distribute your troops and decide when to attack. Random events can alter the game as well. You play against two computer-controlled opponents (no multiplayer) in glorious CGA color, and there are seven difficulty levels to choose from. Not a bad game of its type, although the aforementioned Isle Wars is probably a better choice.
