AxTrons is an action / strategy game where you battle ten opponents ("ClyAxistrons") on each screen. You must collect energy (yours constantly drains) and lay traps to drain the energy of your opponents. Once they're weakened, you can fight them (touch them) and whoever has the most energy wins. Defeat all of them and you'll move to the next screen. It's a text-mode game so there's not much visual interest and the symbols are pretty arbitrary but at least the game provides full in-game help to explain what everything is and how it works.

CTRL-F12 attempts to speed up game, CTRL-F11 attempts to slow it down.
