best zzt game

Out of these zzt games which is the best. Doom zzt is downloadable at the game creation section and not the zzt website http://zzt.belsambar.net/

Well, I voted Burgler, but just because it's a game I actually had fun playing, and it was made by a "friend" of mine. (At least, someone I talked to consistently on AIM for several years... I don't consider most people I meet on the internet to be friends)

But, none of those are really amoung the best (except maybe Banana Quest), and out of the 1,000+ zzt games, trying to narrow it down to 5 is simply insane. (And rather pointless, btw)

I'd question why you're not posting this on the Z2 forums, but come to think of it, you've probably already been banned there. I just hope you didn't make an idiot of yourself (and an embaressment of us) by claiming to be some representative of DGF.

I voted Banana Quest because I had the most fun out of it. Though Burgler is high on my list, as well as Burger Joint. Like Dogbreath had stated, there are WAY too many ZZT games out there to make a poll like this. Not to mention the games that top these choices as well. :/

My favorite overall games are Code Red, Frost, and any game by Madguy (who's games got me wanting to make my own ZZT games).

And about the Z2 fora; if you can't take people making fun of you one way or another for while, until they get to know you, then I'd recommend either idling (IE: post occasionally) for a while or just to avoid it.

I was a fairly regular poster there from early 2002 (or maybe Dec. 2001? can't remember) until 2004/2005ish, but for all practical purposes, my real experiences with the zzt community were on IRC. Back then, (as it still is now in some ways), it was pretty harsh on newbies, and I was only 13 when I joined, but for all of the flaming that when on, I really enjoyed myself and made a lot of good memories.

Now, of course, this was back when I didn't have a job or a "real life", and had 6 or 7 hours a day to spare sitting in front of a computer screen. Ah, those were the days... =P
