Hi, new here.
Well I figured I'd start with the shareware game I haven't seen hide nor hair from since 199?. The name was
Continuum
3d platformer
Insane music that I still have stuck in my head
You went around as a polygon spaceship in a bunch of levels filled with rooms to bounce on polygon squares to get to the exit/ next room or level

Hmm, not sure which game is referred to; there is this one: Continuum which does not seem to be a shareware, but commercially sold only, what I can see? The game style seem to match your description best.

Then there is an old Macintosh game with the same name described here:Continuum ; this latter game was originally commercial but was later released as shareware.
