DOS Games Discussion

Hi all, dusted off a few old games and trying to get Tex Murphy Under Killing Moon to run.
While OS is Windows 10, I do have VM for Windows XP, and been trying to use Dosbox
(long time since Iv used DOS, and cant remember much of it)

Eventually got Dosbox running under Win 10, not under a VM.

Got Tex to run, but no sound, also only running in a rather small window (about 1/4 of the full screen)
Any advice please?

The game likely needs the sound device to be configured first. Look for a SETUP or SETSOUND utility in the directory where it is installed. Make sure you use correct parameters for Sound Blaster (IRQ 7 DMA 1 HDMA 5 Port 220).

As for the screen mode, you can press Alt+Enter to switch to fullscreen. Also don't forget to turn on aspect ratio correction (open the DOSBox config file and set aspect = true).

Have you downloaded DOSBox from the official site? It is highly recommended to use a newer SVN build or the ECE version with some useful enhancements:
