DOS Battleship-Type Game Serial Cable [Battle Fleet]

Hey everyone, recently got back into some classic DOS gaming having purchased two older laptops. We have been enjoying playing these old games. I have found most of the ones I have been looking for except a few. We really enjoy the games that allow multiplayer via a serial cable connection (Tetris Classic, Duke3D, etc). Back in the day I remember having a Battleship type game (like the board game with the pegs), that you could have two players playing via a serial cable. Anyone know where I can find this version of the game? Closest I found for DOS is one that required a Hayes modem and will not connect via the serial link like the other games I have. I know it is out there, I don't think it was a mainstream game. Anyone know of what I am looking for please let me know, been searching for two weeks now with no luck. Thanks...

Just an update, after searching and searching, the game was called "Battle Fleet" version 3.01, in the instructions there is a couple commands to enter to connect via a serial cable and it works! Any suggestion on other similar board-type games like this that used serial/null would be appreciated.
