I remember that in the first chapter, you had to escape from a cave, there were 2 small, animated characters, the game tried to solve puzzles, it had cinematics, it didn't look that old. In one chapter a ship had to be repaired to travel into space. In another chapter the characters are being chased by a kind of troll, and they have to jump into the river where they have to continue solving puzzles.
