DOS Games Discussion

My brother and I are trying to remember the name of this first person space game. You would go to different solar systems I believe and meet different types of aliens and possible do battle... sometimes there were little black worm things in the star drive (or whatever it was called) - It's driving me crazy. Can't remember the name. Pretty sure it is NOT Star COntrol II.

Look for lists of elite-like games? 3d first person trade and combat.

I remember the space-worms in the warp engine problem in one of those games. Or one of the star trek games?
