Rwolf wrote:I recall several favorites, in different genres of course; WC Privateer, Monkey Island, Little Big Adventure 1/2, EF2000, Ultima Underworld, Crusader:No Remorse/Regret, War of the Worlds - all good DOS oldies, but I'm not much for replaying, good memories are better sometimes.
Yeah, I agree. However, the nolstagia is pretty nice though. But, I wouldn't want to go back to the Commodore 64 era unless it was for my kids. Of course, you have to take the good and the bad if you go back. All the pain you went through will be there too along side of all the good. So you just have to make your choice and live with the consequences!

I don't like games. So I haven't any favourites. I prefer to be down to earth and live a quiet peaceful life working to support my real family all my life. Even as a kid I didn't play many games if any.

I am here because I love programming for MS-DOS. hehe You know me, and loving any other than God is a sin. However if you can consider it love, I love programming in DOS. I only have my mother Huong Thi Vu left in my life, and I am prepared to support her by programming in DOS. All these times, I have been practicing and refining my DOS programming skills so that I could produce something that everyone would want. So Thank you for allowing me the time to test my programming marketability. BTW, I have almost eight thousand downloads.

I loved the old championship manager games on dos. I remember the 95/96 edition and we were in our first year of college and blew most of that year getting high and playing cm! The newer football manager sims do have their advancements in terms of graphics and amount of data etc but i prefer the older ones. Im probably just showing my age now really but hey ho :)

There's one game I used to play at my father's work, it was a bow that we controlled to shoot arrows on balloons (some mobile and some immobile). We could control the speed and orientation of the arrows. I don't recall the name of the game, and I'm not sure it was on DOS.
