Platform hopping space racer [= Skyroads]

Im just going to start by saying this game has been niggling in the back of my mind for the past month, so I decided to seek help.
In the game you flew a ship down one of a few paths while obstacles came towards you as you navigated the level. You could hop between the paths at any moment and there were pits and blocks in the way of your ship to try and kill you. Any suggestions very appreciated.
