Found these guys thru Jayisgames. Cactus' has made all sorts of different games spanning many different genres. Definitely worth checking out. Most (if not all) games are reasonably small in size.

Oh, I'm sorry, I thought this was the GENERAL GAMING forum... oh snap, it is... so by your logic, posting about new games released by major gaming companies that everybody knows about and that make tons of money off their games isn't spam, but to promote freeware authors who are just in it for the fun is spam, eh? hmmmmmmmm

No reason to hide, some are indeed pretty good, short, but good.

You may come out in the open, nothing will happen ......

I had a brief look, and it's looks pretty interesting. I don't think I find it quite interesting enough for me to download personally, but yeah, looks interesting.

A lot of them are like... borderline art/experiment/minigame sort of things... but that's kinda my niche. I really liked the concept behind BlockOn. You're given an empty room with a bunch of stars and a door, and you have to build the levels yourself. The idea is to get all the stars then go thru the door. The cool part is, when you actually start your built level, it randomly places bad guys and spikes and such. They always land on your squares, and the walking bad guys have edge detection so they pace over the platform they were randomly placed on.

Hmmmm, let's start with an easy one: Space Fuck!
Click on: >>>>> THIS <<<<<
Click there on download (2 meg), you'll get a zip file, SF.zip, unpack in a folder, you'll get sf.exe, double click on sf.exe, this will create some extra files in that folder and start teh game.

Walk around, read teh instructions and background story, fly around, shoot ..... listen to teh music.
