I can't beat the second level. I keep getting killed.

Play more carefull. Keep your distance. If the enemy shoots back, strafe aside. Don't walk in the huge vents. You can't kill the tall ghosts. (The purple faces aren't ghosts, though they look like it.) Practice more. Play on easy.
