What will run on a 286 computer with mga/cga graphics i am looking for some free legal games that will work on a 286 with mga/cga grphics.

The thread did not help me much as only about 8 games were listed as games to get.The cga machine can play cga and mga games.

Or you could browse through MobyGames.com's list of DOS games. Since you can browse by year, you can be pretty sure that anything, say, 1987 or older will be CGA/MGA. You can usually verify that by looking at the screenshots for the game.

Here ya go, don't think you will find that ol'archived gameslibrary for 286 PCs.

It's a very long list, you will be busy for some time. :)
