A snake-like game?

Hi,

Been searching for this old Snake-like game which was sometime around the time of DigDug, King's Quest 1, and Montezuma's Revenge (played those around '87 if memory serves me right). So far, all my searches have pointed to Snake or Nibbles or the numerous variants.

It's not like much like Snake; there are other snakes besides yourself, and the mazes were actually mazes, compared to Snake/Nibbles which were mostly just a box around the screen with a couple of walls thrown in. I *think* there were eggs lying around the maze which made you (or any other snake) longer if you ate it; and I think you could "kill" another snake by hitting it head-on if you were much larger -- if you were shorter you died.

Well, that's it. Google etc hasn't turned up anything helpful so far (I've waded through dozens of Snake/Nibbles links). Any other old fogeys remember this one? ^^
