i unlocked a core memory and i can't remember for the life of me what it's really about -_-
all i remember about the premise of this ONLINE game is that you had to make your way through a castle and avoid being caught by guards. you had to whack them over the head/fire torch flames at them horizontally. your character jumps onto platforms and hides behind objects (one of the scenes was a hall with columns to hide behind, if that helps). when the guards saw you, they'd jolt + light up and try to charge at you. the illustrations were black & white and very simplistic (they might have even been stick figures?) and the thing i am most certain about was that there were TORCHES (they had geometric, almost diamond-shaped blue/orange flames). the game had some kind of final boss, probably a king or lord or maybe even a dragon? the theme music was creepy and there was definitely an intro of some kind. there may have also been a princess?
