For some reason the forum posts cannot use URL links embedded in text, as described in the 'chain-link' icon toooltips list shown above the editing window. This used to work before, but seems to have been removed in the latest forum updates?
e.g. the tooltip 'Insert URL: [url]http://url[/url] or [url=http://url]URL text[/url]' showing when hovering over the chain-link icon, using this formatting does not work. If there is another format to use, please update (or remove) the tooltip for this.

Also I'm not sure if it is possible to change the text editor interface by admins, I suppose it comes built-in with the phpBB engine.
I will contact Darren anyway, because the phpBB version needs to be updated. Perhaps it will fix the problem on your end.
