PlayStation game about zombies

Hi guys this is a long shot but basically I played this zombie game with my dad when I was 3-4. I'd do anything to know the name of it because it's been on my mind for many many years. I was so young so I only remember a few things like you had a chainsaw and there were two police officers blocking where you could go until you unlocked the area. I basically just ran around with the chainsaw because I was so young. You were in the city too I remember. I can give more info if needed but I only remember so much. Thank you!

I was thinking Evil Dead when you mentioned the chainsaw, but the environment is not a city.

Also the Resident Evil games may have locked off areas, sometimes Police, but plays out in more of a small town than a city.

Carmageddon is in a city, but there are the cars as weapons, not chainsaws.

The others are in different environments, no chainsaws I think.
