General discussion for all topics related to DOS, Windows, Linux, consoles, etc. Anything to do with games.
What is your favorite DOS game?
Duke Nukem 3D is definitely the favorite one, but there were many others like Warcraft 1 & 2, Doom 1 & 2, Quake, F22 Lightning, Grand Prix Circuit, Summer & Winter Games, Prince of Persia 1 & 2, Tomb Raider, Liero, Skyroads, GTA, Comanche, Mortal Kombat, Jazz Jackrabbit...
Basically the regular classics.

I pretty much only had access to shareware stuff back in the good ol' days, but the ones that I remember most fondly were:
Scorched Earth -- an ancestor to Worms
Action SuperCross -- the precursor to Elasto Mania and ancestor of Trials
Epic Pinball -- Same Epic that would make Unreal Tournament

What is your favorite DOS game?
Seriousy too many to count. The series that were popular in the nineties that I played the most probably include Doom, Mortal Kombat, Prince of Persia, Rayman (only one main series game, but there were expansions too), Duke Nukem (II and 3D - never played the first one really), Warcraft, Heroes of M&M, The Need For Speed (again only the first one was released for DOS, but I played it pretty extensively), Skyroads, and a few far less known games.
There were also a couple of DOS games that I missed back in the heyday (or didn't dedicate enough time to), but revisited them many years later, already via DOSBox. This includes Supaplex, where I actually ground through all the 111 original levels, and Virtual Pool / Virtual Snooker.
