Pokemon-like game

There was a game that I played around 14-15 years ago. As far as I remember, there were only team battles, but there were fake monsters. I don't remember if there were any real pokemon though. Does anyone know any details about this game? Another detail, there were 4 wizards in this game (Earth wizard etc.).
