Well, since I am on welfare I might as well start a subject titled something to that. It is just a wonderful system where I have no marketable skills, yet I am not homeless anymore. The good thing is I get to do what I always wanted to do on my own time. I always wanted to program for a living to make my father glad and my mother rejoices.

This is an updated version of Ping Pong. Please disregard the message about one of the player being able to control the keyboard since it is only single player this time.

The thing that makes this version special is that flicker is finally eliminated. Since I am on welfare and I get all my bills paid for FREE, I am giving you my hard working game making secrets for FREE to be fair! I have used solid sprites this time around instead of transparent sprites. That is why it no longer flickers. It is not as flexible as transparent sprites since it cannot float over objects with ease. However, it works and is not an annoyance hopefully.

Anyways, this is a drastic improvement and combines both single and two player options in one game. Just push the number one while the game is playing and you have instant single player. Just push the number two while the game is playing and you have two player mode ready to play.

In this version the controls have been made A-left and D-right for Wardrich.

Also, a few other minor glitches are fixed.

Plus an option for speed control is implemented.

I really hope you have fun because making these games are tiring hehe

Now that I have perfected the routine to make it stop flickering............

I am now able to change the paddle to any shape I want.

Since it is my game, I am changing it to something very few people use.

Here you can see a crucifix on the bottom used as a paddle.

The top uses a triangle.

This game is a blessing in disguise because it has the cross in it!!!!!

I really wanted to improve it to the point where people would be happy.

I felt my development as a game maker needed much to work on.

So I decided after so many times seeing my games flicker...
I just got annoyed even though it works fine.

The solid sprites are limited however.

As you could see you need a clear background.

If you had a message or an object behind the solid sprites it doesn't work.

Remember if you compile you need BOTH C and TASM;
Specifically the codes might be proprietary to Borland.

Well, I spent a good amount of time working on the dot fix. So here is the fix. However there is still a little left I have to do before it is complete.

In this version it is unique. You can have super-speed fire.

Press the number 1 then + to increase the speed of that bullet.

There are 10 possible separate bullet speed controls.

If you press the number 2 then + then it increases that bullet's speed.

The more you push + the more it increases up to 5 levels.

The reverse of minus slows it down.

Enjoy.

Well, finally. I got the pixel to be removed after a collision. Now I just have to work on the fact that it is near collision often times instead of actual. haha

Anyways, these are the little finest and elegance in programming that makes it good for the hardcore gamer. Actually, I do not really know hehe I just program and hope people like what comes out.

Okay, here is my next little game.

The object of the game is to find the mailbox that might blend into the back.

If you push the button the mail is activated.

Then you move the gamepad until you find the mailbox.

When you are able to do so you are rewarded with enough to be comfortable

My uncle tells me the more you work the better you get. In fact if you work enough you will win out over someone who is lazy and has talent. I have found this to be true.

For me, one of my latest creation that made me proud is the scrolling credit and/or wavy effect modified DEMO. It is one of my more elegant achievements.

There is a little tweak that makes it a little more stable so it does not flash when you stop scrolling. It contains about 800 lines of text then it wraps around to the beginning. When you press Q it gives you many of the credits to the people who have helped. Although not all are listed yet it is a start.
